So this morning i've turned my ps5 on, took a disc out and then the controller just turned off Couldn’t find anything in the menu myself. Since then everytime i try to turn it on it just blinks orange twice and stays off.

Does anyone know what's happening? Anyone know of a way to turn it off Light bar blinks orange when plugged in but does not turn white or blu controller seems dead unless i plug it into usb
When i plug it in using the usb it does the slow orange light blink but after when i press the ps button it's dead again
Usually it would light up afterword but i'm at a loss from here I've tried the reset but still same. I hope you all are enjoying your console Anybody knows if there is an option to turn off the orange light on the console while the rest mode is on
I find it annoying sometimes. Let it try and connect Once its done flashing and hasn't connected Turn the whole ps5 system off (holding the power button down) with controller still plugged in
Turn ps5 back on with controller plugged in and it should work
Reply reply demon_lord1899 • i can attest that this works reply reply rickybobbie4u • Ps5 blinking orange light so i have had my playstation for about 2 years now and ever since i've got it i've used rest mode So i found out today my playstation wasn't completely turning off so i decided to put it into safe mode, only did i know that when i tried to turn it back on it was blinking orange. Can you switch the lights off on the ps5 so it's not so distracting when playing a game in a dark room

So i bought a slightly used ps5 and the seller factory reset it
So i go about powering it up and connecting it to my tv and everything seems fine I get to the controller and it is asking me to plug it in the usb port and press the playstation button on the controller I do that and nothing happens, the controller light is just orange when i press the button and then it fades I don’t play online on consoles and don’t want the controllers mic on
But when you turn it off you get a pretty distracting yellow light
