Porkbun's founder is one of big player in this industry We have all of ours (domains) registered through namecheap and we're just curious if/why it's worth the headache to do transfers from namecheap to cloudflare And yes, like any business they are after for profit

And they also sell hosting and other services, so most of profit came from there And since the founder is chinese, like any chinese they do business with philosophy (i know it, i'm asian grew up in chinese community) 1 cent profit. Porkbun are an amazing domain registrar, but a terrible host, as hosting is literally just an addon/upsell for them, their support is very poor, as they just don't have that many hosting experts in the wings Use registrars for domain registration, and hosting companies for web hosting.

I like cloudflare and i use their services but the fact that cloudflare registrar won't allow you to use other dns servers is a bit of a concern to me. Porkbun for sure in all three of those categories Cloudfare you have to use their nameservers, idk if that matters to you. I’ve had truly terrible experiences with namecheap and cloudflare

Has anyone used ddclient with porkbun

I was using it with namecheap but now trying with porkbun and having trouble getting a working ddclient.conf file Looking for a working sample config file I want to create my personal website, it's going to be related to it and tech stuff and i have a problem with choosing where i should register my domain I would appreciate it if someone could point.
